CHRIST Church in Greenbank is gearing up to host an unrehearsed nativity service in the coming weeks.
Held in the old station house at Greenbank railway station, the Greenbank nativity service is always a highlight in the church’s calendar.
A spokesman for Christ Church said: “This is always a popular service with local families as it gives an opportunity for every child to join in and re-enact the well-known story.
“The unique aspect is that it is completely unrehearsed.
“Children can come in their favourite nativity costume or just arrive a few minutes early and borrow one from the church.
“Everyone is welcome to join in, but as it is expected to be popular, come down early for a front row seat.”
Christ Church’s s 2019 nativity service will be held on Sunday, December 15 at 10.30am.
This will be the first of five Christmas services at Greenbank this year.
Details about the other services and events organised by the church can be found at christchurchgreenbank.org.
