CHESHIRE Police are investigating reports of criminal damage believed to have been caused by shots from an air rifle.
The incidents have been reported in Barnton, Comberbach, Anderton and Marbury.
Among the property that has been damaged includes a number of cars, caravans, bus stops and a motorhome.
A post on social media states that a window frame was also damaged near to where an 18-month child often sleeps.
The posts adds: ““This matter is becoming extremely dangerous, and eventually someone will be badly injured or worse.”
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “Over the past few months, police in Northwich have received a number of reports in relation to criminal damage to property and vehicles believed to have been caused by an air weapon.
“The incidents have taken place in the rural areas of Barnton, Comberbach, Anderton and Marbury.
“Anyone who may have been a victim of this crime or has any information of those who may be responsible to help with the investigation is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting 199100694268.
“Information can also be passed on anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers via crimestoppers-uk.org.”
