A TEENAGER from Kendal is among those who have been charged in connection with a reported robbery at an off-licence in Carlisle.
After appearing at North Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Friday, Aaron Blackburn, 18, of Queen's Road, Kendal, was remanded in custody along with a 17-year-old male from Blackpool and a 16-year-old male from Carnforth.
Mr Blackburn and the male from Blackpool have been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, while the male from Carnforth was charged with robbery.
Police said the charges followed an investigation into an incident that occurred on Thursday evening at the Foreways Store on Blackwell Road, Carlisle.
All three will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on January 6, 2020.
A 48-year-old woman from Carlisle, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released under investigation.
