The Londis store is being opened in a former greengrocers
CHELFORD Parish Council chairman David Wilson is to cut a ribbon to officially open a new Londis store next week.
The shop is being opened by Karthik Marimuthu on the ground floor of premises in Knutsford Road which were home to Chelford Greengrocers.
“I am looking forward to welcoming the local community to the store,” said Karthik.
The store will open seven days a week, from 6am to 10pm, and include a Costa Coffee machine.
“The new store is going to be really welcomed by local people, especially the older residents who find it difficult travelling to shops, as over the last few years we have lost a number of services,” said Cllr Wilson.
