SOUTH Lakes Police has issued a warning on Twitter about cold-calling builders in the Ulverston area today.
If in doubt, the public was advised to contact Trading Standards or 101.
Watch out, Police and Trading Standards have been dealing with cold calling builders in the Ulverston area today. Please make sure you use local or trustworthy businesses to avoid being scammed, if in doubt contact ourselves or Trading Standards for advice. #partnershipworking
