A DONATION of £85 was made to Cumbria Wildlife Trust thanks to a series of garden open days held at The Ryebeck Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere.
The money was presented to Hazel Jones, the trust’s fundraising officer, by Kevin Line, head of gardening at The Ryebeck.
Mr Line has worked to make the hotel’s garden better for wildlife by, for example, introducing a holly hedge and a bog garden.
