ROBERTS has taken its quirky identity out on the nation's road, after overhauling its delivery vehicle livery.

Eight of the bakery's vehicles are now sporting the striking look, with the entire 90-strong fleet set to transform during 2020.

The design follows the bakery's bold and bright branding, with the Early Bird mascot taking centre stage to tell motorists how Roberts is 'shaking up baking', 'going against the grain', 'challenging stale thinking' and 'rolling out fresh ideas'.

Stuart Spencer-Calnan, managing director at Roberts Bakery, said: “We recently invested heavily in a radical rebrand and this is the latest stage of its roll out.

Northwich Guardian:

“Our delivery fleet covers thousands of miles every day and is seen by so many people, so it’s essential that the modern, innovative, next generation brand that we now are is communicated through all touchpoints and channels.

“We’d like to think that the new designs will attract attention and brighten the bleakest of journeys or jams – not to mention our Early Bird raising a smile with its cheeky soundbites, call out for ideas and promises for the brightest future of bakery.”

AST Designs – specialists in vehicle graphics – is the team behind the overhaul.
