LITERATURE fans are invited to a poetry reading, with all offerings detailing the history, heritage and life of St Helen’s Church.
This is to coincide with the launch of a poetry anthology entitled ‘Stones Have Their Own Language’.
The anthology contains works exploring the history if the church, including its stained-glass windows, the local community and much more.
As well as poetry, musician and song writer John Booth will also be performing a range of musical numbers.
Mince pies and drinks will be served afterwards
The event will be held at St Helen’s Church on Friday, December 13 from 6pm.
Entry is free, however donations are welcome.
