THREE dazzling folk acts are set to wow music fans when they perform at Harlequin Theatre later this month.

Organised by Northwich Folk Club, the event will be headlined by well-known bass player, Rick Kemp.

Rick, who has worked for various bands including Steeleye Span during his 60 years in the music industry, decided to go solo three years ago at the age of 75.

His new show will include his much-covered original songs and spins yarns from an inexhaustible library of experiences.

Throughout his career, he has also had many encounters with musicians including David Bowie, Eurythmics, Peter Sellers and The Beach Boys as well as appearing on TOTP dressed as a Womble.

This new solo show will feature a slideshow to accompany his wealth of stories and will give an insight into Rick’s early life.

Supporting him on stage will be An Croenen and Dominic Cook.

This will be accompanied by Dominic on guitar and bouzouki, and the evening will be hosted by Dave Vaughan.

Doors will open at 8pm for an 8:30pm start at the Harlequin Theatre on Friday, November 22.
