Sandra Curties, town centre manager said: “We hope residents and visitors will pop into town on the 5th - no matter what the weather!

“Knutsford’s shops cater for friends and family from little ones through to the eldest family members.

"They also offer a personal touch that you can’t buy on-line or in a large shopping centre. It would be great to see the community support their local shops.”

Allison Craig-Mair of The Bath House said: “The Bath House are delighted to take part in Knutsford’s Late-Night Shopping Event. It promises to be a lovely festive evening.”

Paul Bonner of Bikes n Gear said: “Bikes n Gear are looking forward to welcoming anyone who is interested in bikes or bike related gifts for Christmas.”

In addition, every shopper will be rewarded with a raffle ticket which will be given with any purchase.

This can be taken to The Courthouse from 6pm ready for a draw from 8pm by Knutsford Town Mayor Cllr Andrew Malloy.

Prizes so far include dinner, bed and breakfast at any Flat Cap Hotels, a huge beauty hamper from Lockton’s, Mr Simms sweet hamper and a gift from Clarity Contemporary Jewellery.
