HOUSEBUILDER David Wilson Homes has donated fresh flower beds to Chelford Railway Station after the previous flowers were vandalised.
The housebuilder, which is building properties nearby at its Galloway Grange and Black Firs Park developments, is keen to improve the areas in which it builds in whatever way it can.
David Wilson Homes also partnered with landscaping group TCL to fund the donation of the flowers, with TCL also offering to create a year-round planting scheme for the railway station to combat potential vandalism.
Sophie Kelly, Regional Relationship Manager at TCL group, said: “We were delighted when James at David Wilson Homes North West asked if we wanted to help replant the flowers at Chelford Railway Station.

“It’s important that corporations offer a helping hand to the areas in which they operate in order to develop and improve them, and we were glad we were able to do this with a donation of flower beds.”
James Griffith, sales manager at David Wilson Homes North West, said: “We are so pleased to be able to make this contribution to the railway station.
“It’s a great feeling to support the community and we hope Chelford’s residents enjoy the new flower beds.”
