A PUB in Acton Bridge is sporting a new look after undergoing an extensive refurbishment.
The Riverside in Acton Bridge was one of the many buildings affected to flooding three weeks ago, however they had already planned to make changes.
And after closing for a period while the refurb was completed, the pub has now reopened and is welcoming back customers with open arms.
Kelly Martin, general manager at The Riverside, said: "I am really happy with how our refurb went, as the place looks so much brighter and fresher.
“Our kitchen has been completely re modelled and is so much more practical for the chefs to keep producing our great quality food.
“We are now open every day from 11am and will now be serving carvery dinners on Saturdays as well as our usual Wednesdays and Sundays.
“We are also now serving breakfast every weekend from 9.30am to 11.30am.
“I would like to thank both our team and our customers for all their continued support and we look forward to welcoming our old and new customers alike."
A key feature of the refurb has been a total overhaul of the kitchen, with new appliances and flooring.
Changes have also been made to the dining areas, with a new green and grey colour scheme making it look good as new.
The pub’s furniture has been reupholstered to match the colour scheme and make the popular watering hole more appealing to customers.
The Riverside has now reopened and customers are welcome to check out the changes for themselves.
