WINNINGTON Recreation Club will be transformed into the Northwich Stock Exchange next Friday, with teams invited to sign up to the light-hearted event.
Doors to the Northwich Rotary Club Stock Exchange evening open at 7pm on November 15, with trading from 7.30pm.
The fun event aims to replicate the faculties of a stock exchange, providing an enjoyable and memorable occasion suitable for all.
The event will consist of rounds – or trading sessions – which will give teams the chance to buy and sell shares in several fictional companies.
MC Nick Marsh will lead the announcements and company updates, prompting a flurry of activity on the trading floor.
The team with the highest 'value' of shares and cash holdings at the end of the sixth trading period will be the winner with prizes on offer.
The full rules and procedures will all be explained on the night, making it suitable for complete novices.
Teams for the event can be between two and six people, at £10 per team and £10 per person which includes a hot pot supper provided by Mid Cheshire Catering.
To enter a team, call 01606 48521 or email northwichrotaryss@gmail.com and ask for either Emma, Heather, Clare or Clive.
