TWO men were arrested and others injured in an incident early on Sunday morning.

Police officers were called to reports of an altercation between a group of men outside Barons Quay Social around 2.15am on Sunday, November 3.

Two Northwich men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of assault and have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A number of people were injured, and detectives are now appealing for information from the public.

DC Neil Wharmby, from Northwich CID, said: “This investigation is currently in the early stages and we are doing everything we can to establish exactly what took place.

“The altercation took place outside a busy town centre bar and as part of my enquiries I’m keen to hear from anyone who was present at the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed what happened.

“I’d urge anyone with any information, no matter how small, to contact the team here at Northwich on 101.”
