SUPER League champions Saints will tackle runners-up Salford in the Dacia Magic Weekend on its return to St James’ Park next season.
The two Grand Finalists play each other at 5.15pm on Saturday, May 23 in-between the clashes between Castleford Tigers against Catalans Dragons and Leeds Rhinos versus Hull FC.
Saints are likely to travel in numbers and, given the strength of support from those three Yorkshire clubs in previous Magic encounters at Newcastle, the opening day is sure to see a bumper gate.
The following day Dacia Magic Weekend debutants Toronto Wolfpack play Huddersfield Giants at 12.30pm on Sunday, ahead of Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves, who faced each other at Anfield in 2019. Wakefield Trinity against Hull KR is final match at 5pm.
