A LONDIS convenience store is set to open next month in the centre of Chelford.

The shop is being opened by Karthik Marimuthu, from Macclesfield, the franchise owner of the BP petrol station near the Monks Heath crossroads between Chelford and Macclesfield.

The shop is being opened on the ground floor of premises in Knutsford Road, which were home to Chelford Greengrocers.

Karthik told the Guardian that the Londis store was due to open towards the end of November.
