A MAN and a woman were arrested after police executed a drugs warrant at a property on Tuesday morning (October 15).
Officers attended an address on Legh Street, Newton-le-Willows shortly after 10am.

Police said that they discovered bags of cannabis, plants and drugs paraphernalia in the property.
Two arrests were made in connection with the warrant.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We arrested a 32 year-old man on suspicion of producing a Class B controlled drug and a 24 year-old woman on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
"We also recovered 20 plants, bags of cannabis and paraphernalia.
"Both (suspects) have been released under investigation."
