ONE of Britain’s leading comedy/folk groups will be weaving their musical magic at a Knutsford Lions Club fundraising concert.

The Houghton Weavers are to visit Knutsford on Thursday, November 21 for a concert at The Courthouse.

The band have performed thousands of concerts, recorded more than 30 albums, starred in several of their own highly successful BBC radio and TV series, and made countless appearances on other programmes.

The group entertain their audiences with humorous jokes and antidotes and sing 'popular’ folk songs, from raucous traditional songs to singalong favourites interspersed with beautiful ballads, all performed in their own inimitable style.

Seating is unreserved, and doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.
