JURORS in the trial of David Pomphret will continue their deliberations for a third day tomorrow.
The panel of five men and seven women is currently considering its verdict over whether the 51-year-old is guilty of murdering his wife Ann-Marie Pomphret.

Deliberations began briefly on Wednesday afternoon, and have continued today.
But the jury have now been sent home until tomorrow morning, Friday, by judge David Aubrey – when they will continue their discussions.
Barclays executive Pomphret, of Masefield Drive in Winwick, bludgeoned his 49-year-old wife to death after hitting her over the head with a crowbar more than 30 times at the couple’s stables on Old Alder Lane in Burtonwood in November last year.
He denies murder, having instead admitted manslaughter on the grounds of a ‘loss of control’.
The trial at Liverpool Crown Court continues.
