FIREFIGHTERS tackled a fire in the open on Flittogate Lane in Tabley.
A fire engine from Knutsford was called out at 5pm on Thursday, October 3, and the crew found a pile of tree scrub and wood on fire and unattended, near trees and outbuildings.
