THE shelves are stocked and the staff are in place ready for the much-anticipated opening of Smyths toy store in Warrington.
Warrington Guardian photographer Dave Gillespie got a sneak peak before it opens to the public on JunctionNINE retail park, Winwick Road, on Monday morning.
The toy retailer has signed a 10-year lease on the 14,500sq ft unit, which was previously home to Halfords.
It will be welcome news for families following the closure of Toys R Us in Warrington. Prior to opening the closest Smyths store was St Helens.
The arrival of Smyths toys brings the park tenant line-up at JunctionNINE to 19, which includes Nando’s, Dunelm, Dreams, Hobbycraft, Mothercare, TUI, Home Bargains, Currys/PC World, KFC and Starbucks.
We have teamed up with Smyths to offer one lucky winner a £250 giftcard to spend in store.
For your chance to win, answer this question: The new Smyths toy store can be located at which retail park in Warrington?
Email competition@nqnw.co.uk with your answer and full contact details.
The closing date for entries is next Sunday, October 6. And for another chance to win don't miss Thursday's Warrington Guardian.
