A YORKSHIRE Dales farmer is celebrating after a farm-to-fork business he co-manages received recognition at the Great Taste Awards.
Wayne Hutchinson is one of the men behind ‘Dales Lamb’, an enterprise he helps to supply with sheep bred on the land, near Hawes, which he runs with wife Karen.
And the business was rewarded at 2019’s Great Taste Awards - organised by the Guild of Fine Food and involving more than 500 judges - when its Swaledale mutton leg snapped up the highest three-star rating on offer.
