A PUBLIC meeting will take place in Hartford on Wednesday, to help inform a decision on the next Bishop of Chester.
Members of the public are invited to express their views on who it should be, and what qualities they should have.
The public meeting at St John’s Church in School Lane will start at 7.15pm, as part of a consultation with the Diocese of Chester.
It will be an opportunity to put across your views directly to the appointments secretaries – on behalf of the Archbishops and the Prime Minister – on who should be the next Bishop of Chester should be.
Dr Peter Forster, The Church of England’s longest-serving bishop, will step down from his role this year.
