A WINSFORD man has been charged with modern slavery offences in Humberside.
Anthony McCosh, 24, was arrested last week as part of a Humberside Police-led operation in Grimsby and Lincolnshire, supported by the National Crime Agency.
McCosh appeared in court on Friday charged with criminally exploiting a child and a vulnerable adult, supplying heroin and cocaine and being in possession of a stun gun.
A Humberside Police spokesman said: "The exploitation charges have been brought under the modern slavery act and relate to the child and vulnerable man being forced to work on his behalf.
"Following this morning’s hearing at Grimsby Magistrates Court, McCosh was remanded into custody and the case has now been committed to crown court."
He will next appear in court on Monday, October 14.
