EVERY week The Argus staff are hunting for great lookalikes in Brighton and beyond.

We are welcoming nominations for the best in Sussex.

They can look like any celebrity, be they a singer, athlete or someone else. If you have family or friends who are the spitting image of someone famous, please send us a photo and we will feature the best. This week we have an excellent submission from the public.

This week’s entry comes courtesy of Melad Sitt, from Brighton.

Melad is the owner of Churchill’s Supermarket in Air Street.

The 46-year-old is often told he looks like former Newcastle, Liverpool and Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez.

The Spanish football boss recently left the North East to pursue a managerial career in China.

The resemblance is so striking that Melad is known by regulars as Rafa Brighton.

Do you think he could step into the shoes of Rafa for a game or two?

Do you or does anyone you know have a famous lookalike?

If you do and would like to feature, send your photo submissions to jamie.walker@theargus.co.uk with the subject “Lookalikes”.
