AN owl stuck in a chimney has been rescued by firefighters using rods and a special camera
The tawny owl named Sooty by crews was trapped on top of a house on Leycester Road in Knutsford shortly after 6pm last night.
Firefighters climbed on the roof to reach Sooty the owl
Firefighters from green watch at Lymm who rescued the owl said: "Crews used rods and a special camera to assist with the rescue."
Crews used a special camera to pinpoint exactly where Sooty the owl was stuck
Crews climbed onto the roof and used chimney rods to reach the owl.
Once the owl was rescued it was handed over to the care of the RSPCA.

Crews were at the scene for around 45 minutes.
