Long delays are being reported
ALL traffic is was temporarily held and a lane was closed after a crash on the M56 eastbound this morning, Wednesday.
This happened between junction seven for the A556 at Bowdon and junction six for the A538 Wilmslow Road.
The A556 heading northbound is also being affected as a result.
Lane three of three was blocked following the accident involving a van.
Long delays are being reported and travel time is currently around 40 minutes.
