A SUSPECTED heroin and crack cocaine dealer carrying a knife has been arrested in Birchwood.
Police arrested a 19-year-old man on Whitworth Close at around 3pm yesterday, Thursday, on suspicion of possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The teen, from Manchester, remains in custody this afternoon.
A 22-year-old woman, from Merseyside, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drug.
She has since been released under investigation.
Officers also seized a car at the scene, with the teenager believed to have been involved in a ‘county lines’ operation.
