STATION Road was closed through the night in Holmes Chapel, due to flooding caused by a burst water main.
The road was blocked both ways between the A50 London Road and the Manor Lane roundabout, with the problems arising at the Sandiford Lane junction.
The road has been closed since around 4.30pm yesterday and has been closed through the night.
As of yet it is unclear when the road will re-open.
