WILMSLOW students Maisie Rowlinson and Joshua Clayfield are among the A level high flyers at King’s School in Macclesfield.
King’s students produced another stunning set of A Level results, with 40 per cent of grades at A* or A.
Maisie, 18, got three A*s and an A and will now read Fine Art at Nottingham Trent, while regional debating champion Joshua got two A grades a B and C and is going to read Law at City University London.

King’s Headmaster Dr Simon Hyde said: “King’s students have yet again shown the resourcefulness and intelligence to progress confidently in a world that offers ever more opportunities for those with imagination and drive.
“With these fantastic results, students are going on to study a wide range of courses, from Art and Motorsport Engineering to Medicine and Law, at some of the country’s most prestigious institutions, including Cambridge, LSE and Imperial.”
