FROM Peaky Blinders... to Denbigh Green!

The main ring attraction at this year's Denbigh and Flint Show will be the Atkinson Action Horses.

With recent credits from Poldark, Victoria, Peaky Blinders, The Living and the Dead, and Hippopotamus, it is guaranteed this elite force has at some point invaded your TV screen!

On Thursday, August 15, the Atkinson Action Horses will be stampeding their way to the Denbigh and Flint Show.

The Free Press will once more be prominent at the popular event.

We will be at stall i17 on the showground throughout the day on Thursday, August 15.

At the show, we will be selling goodie bags for £1, which includes a copy of that week’s paper, a branded pen, a drink, crisps and a snack.

In addition, there will be a limited amount of historical maps which we will include in the first 30 goodie bags.

Once again, there will be a shuttle bus leaving Lenton Pool, Denbigh from 9am-11am every half-an-hour, and between 2 and 6pm.

After 6pm, the bus will run until 8.30pm from the showground to the Colomendy bus stop.

The showground bus stop is located at entrance C.

Gates open to the public at 8.30am.

Tickets are available from a number of outlets, including directly from the office at: 1 Cross Street, Holywell, Flintshire, CH8 7LP. Cheques, cash or over the phone card payments are accepted.

If purchased in advance of the showday, tickets are £15 for adults, £9 for senior citizens / disabled and £3.50 for children between five and 14 years.

Children under the age of five are admitted free, while a family ticket (two adults, two children) costs £34.

At the gate on showday, tickets are £18 for adults and £5 for children (5-14 years), while a family ticket is £40.
