A NORTHWICH charity is to hold a Brit Pop night later this year to raise money for a sensory play area.
All ticket sales for ‘Under the Influence’ will go directly towards the play area, which will benefit families and children with additional needs from across the town.
This will be the fourth music night held by the charity Tiny Steps, who say each one has been an amazing success and has sold out quickly.
Under the Influence promises to provide amazing DJ and acoustic sets from the Brit Pop era, featuring all the music that made the period great.
Exclusive DJ sets will be performed by Shed Seven's lead singer Rick Witter as well as Inspiral Carpets and XS Manchester legend Clint Boon.
Acoustic sets will also feature throughout the night from Mark Morriss, lead singer of The Bluetones, and Northwich’s own Chris Tavener.
Those who purchase a ticket will be in with the chance to win a personalised ‘Chasing Rainbows’ lyrics sheet, signed and dated by Rick Witter himself.
Under the Influence will be held on Friday, October 11 at Winnington Park Recreational Club.
Tickets are priced at £19, and with 300 already sold with less than 10 weeks to go, Tiny Steps are urging people to secure their place quickly to avoid disappointment.
Tickets can be bought at www.wegottickets.co.uk/tinysteps.
