PART of Bridge Street will be shut for weeks due to roadworks.
The section of the high street between Barbauld Street and Academy Way is currently closed to traffic due to ‘enhancement works’ to both the road and footpaths.
And closures will be in place for a total of eight weeks.

A Warrington Borough Council spokesperson said: “Part of Bridge Street has been closed to traffic for eight weeks to allow the contractor to undertake enhancement works to both the carriageway and footpaths.”
