A HOARD of jewellery worth around £1,000 was taken in a burglary at an Ambleside property.
Police are investigating the incident which occurred on Compston Road between July 21 and August 8.
The burglars removed the following items from a bedroom jewellery box:
- A locket with a dent in the back
- A sapphire ring
- A three stone diamond ring
- A ruby ring
- An eternity ring
- An engagement ring
- A gold watch
Anyone who has been offered the jewellery described or who has any information is asked to call police on 101, to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or to email 101@cumbria.police.uk, quoting log 50 of August 8, 2019.
