Having had our previous Dog Show and Behaviour Clinic washed away by torrential rain we are planning another one.

It will take place on Saturday, August 24 at The Bulls Head, Mill Lane, Mobberley, Knutsford.

We shall of course have our Fun Dog Show starting at 1pm with Best Puppy, Best Veteran, Dog you would most like to take home etc and the prestigious Best in Show.  For an hour before the show and afterwards I will be running my Dog Behaviour Clinic where I will work with your dog one-on-one to resolve any behaviour issues he/she may have for a £10 donation to a local animal charity.

I’ve been running these clinics for 10 years and I can honestly say I have never met a dog unwilling or unable to change its ways for the better.

Nervous dogs frequently arrive like they are afraid of the world and leave looking like they just won Crufts.

I will have my own dogs there to help me and there is nothing they haven’t seen.

They’ve done enough rehabilitation work not to be phased by whatever faces them.

They can read other dogs in ways humans cannot and I rely on their judgement when dealing with nervous, frightened or aggressive dogs.

That old saying about teaching an old dog new tricks is absolute nonsense I’ve seen 14 year-old dogs change their behaviour when they are shown it’s in their interest to change.

Unlike us, dogs don’t fret about the past or worry about the future they live in the moment.

We don’t have to teach our dogs to let go of upsetting memories… we have to teach ourselves.

Once you understand basic dog psychology it’s nowhere near as difficult as sounds.

Text me for a fixed appointment on 07590 560012 or just turn up on the day and I will see you ASAP.
