LAST year judges faced the unenviable task of having to select the winners of our Warrington Guardian Inspiration Awards.

From charity champions to sporting superstars, with so many deserving nominees they faced a tough time whittling down the entries to a final shortlist.

And judging by the reaction to our launch last week, it seems our 2019 awards are going to be no exception.

Warrington Guardian:

Warrington Guardian editor Hayley Smith said: “It has been fantastic to see such a positive response to our appeal for nominations over the past week, showing that Warrington really is a town full of people who are going above and beyond every day to help those less fortunate.

“We welcome entries from all walks of life so if you know someone who you believe deserves recognition for their hard work and dedication then please get in touch.

“We can’t run these awards without your help in letting us know about the wonderful work being carried out across Warrington every day. All nominations are gratefully received.”
