JAMES Child, under fire for his performance in the Catalans Dragons versus Warrington Wolves match, will not be in charge of any Super League games this week.
Instead, he will have the whistle for the Championship game between Widnes Vikings and Toulouse Olympique at the Halton Stadium on Saturday.
He will also be a touch judge in Friday night's Super League clash between Wigan Warriors and Hull Kingston Rovers at the DW Stadium.
Looking after Wire's top-two battle with St Helens on Thursday night will be Ben Thaler.
Child has been criticised for his handling of the meeting between Catalans and The Wire from many quarters.
Two players were sent off, there were four sin-binnings and six charges were sanctioned after the Match Review Panel's sitting and assessment yesterday.
The contest ended in chaos with scenes of crowd trouble.
