The capsized boat
A CAPSIZED boat on the M6 is causing long delays this afternoon, Tuesday.
The collision, involving a trailer carrying a boat, happened just after junction 18 for Holmes Chapel on the northbound carriageway.
Traffic is being diverted off at junction 18 via the exit slip road and back onto the M6 down the entry slip road.
The trailer carrying the boat has been turned over by traffic officers who are now working to open the carriageway quickly.
