POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fatal collision in Wilmslow.
At about 1.20am yesterday (Sunday) officers were called to reports of an incident on the A34 Birrell Way.
Officers attended the scene and found that a 21-year-old pedestrian had suffered serious injuries following a collision near the Polar Ford roundabout. The man, who is from the Wilmslow area, died at the scene.
Inquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers are keen to hear from motorists who were driving on Birrell Way between 1am and 1.20am.

They would also like to hear from anyone who thinks that they may have dashcam footage which may aid the investigation to get in touch.
