POPULAR Little Leigh pub The Holly Bush Inn has been put up for sale at a guide price of £750,000.
The pub, off the A49 Warrington Road, dates back to the 1600s when the farmhouse first got its license to quench the thirst of villagers in Bartington.
Now people travel from across Cheshire to visit the pub, particularly in the summer to enjoy its beer garden.
The Grade II listed property comprises four separate buildings over a 2.63 acre site in the Cheshire countryside.
Together the four buildings offer 14 en-suite letting rooms, a three-bedroom private living accommodation and a bar and dining area with 58 covers. The property also benefits from an extensive beer garden, orchard and parking area.
Tom Cunningham, director at real estate advisor Savills Manchester, said: “Full of character and history, The Holly Bush Inn offers a rare opportunity to acquire the freehold interest in a unique, listed property.
“Located in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, whilst also benefitting from convenient travel links, we’re expecting strong interest in this site.”
