Crews were called at about 5am
FIRE crews were called to a fire in a commercial building in Bexton Lane, Knutsford, just before 5am on Wednesday (July 17).
The fire involved an industrial fryer in the kitchen of a two-storey property.
Firefighters, four wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reels to put out the fire, and the building was then checked for hotspots using a thermal imaging camera.
The fire was attended by fire engines from Knutsford, Lymm and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
