BOUTIQUE owners Tim and Penelope Rawson will be offering glasses of bubbly and canapes to their customers to celebrate the opening of their new shop.

Tim and Penelope own The Edit Boutique, which has had a shop in Canute Place in Knutsford since October 2016.

The shop is set to move into a former jewellers’ shop at 91 King Street, with the opening day set for Saturday, July 20.

Tim said: “We can't wait to settle into our fantastic new spot in the heart of Knutsford, where we're sure we'll enjoy success for years to come.

“On the opening day we'll be providing glasses of bubbly and canapes as well as our famous goody bags for customers, while stocks last.

“As local residents will have seen, building work has progressed swiftly, and we're really grateful to the nearby residents and business for their patience during the improvements, as well as our builders, Base to Apex, who have been complimented on our social pages for their courtesy and consideration.

“While repeat business from local residents forms the bulk of our business in our old premises at Canute Place, we're sure that our new, more central address, along with an update to the award-winning store design, will build on our success to date.

A social media and email campaign will complement the opening, ensuring that our customers know about the new store and pay us a visit along with our new neighbours.”

Tim and Penelope were given planning approval by Cheshire East Council to remove and replace the 1984 shop front at the King Street premises, which was a butchers shop before its last role as a jewellers.

Tim said the building work had been completed, and reflected The Edit brand while fitting in with the conservation area.
