EXHIBITION organiser Peter Spooner is hoping to snap up new members at a popular photographic display.

Knutsford Photographic Society’s annual exhibition takes place from Saturday, August 3 to Saturday, August 31 at Knutsford Library.

Opening times are 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturday and Wednesday.

Peter said: “This year’s exhibition will display some of the best images seen at the club during the 2018/2019 competition season.

“Previous exhibitions have proved highly popular, and we are confident that visitors to the library will enjoy our latest display.

“By the very diverse nature of images on display, we hope to inspire future club members who may be keen to progress their photography and join our club.

“The exhibition also marks the start of the society’s 70th anniversary year, which will be celebrated by an excellent programme of speakers and events from September to April.”

Knutsford Photographic Society also hosts an international challenge competition with a leading Canadian camera club, and is currently exhibiting images at the Manitoba Red River Show in Canada.

The society has closed for the summer break, and will reopen on September 3 with a welcome evening and events for the new season.

Meetings are held in the Brook Street Chapel Hall, Adams Hill, Knutsford every Tuesday from 7.55pm to 10pm.

New members of all abilities are very welcome. Further details at knutsfordps.org.uk
