THE world’s first luxury pop-up hotel is set to be constructed right in Cheshire later this summer and you and your friends could be the first guests.

Hotel site LateRooms.com has joined forces with Tough Mudder to open a '5-star style outdoor' Al Fresco Hotel near to where the obstacle course event takes place at Cholmondeley Castle.

More than 10,000 people are expected to take part working their way around mud-soaked obstacles on September 7 and 8 but up to six winners will get the chance to be pampered after the event.

The winning group will be chauffeur driven to the exclusive 'Al Fresco Hotel' which promises to take 'glamping to another level' after transforming a private field near the castle into a pop-up luxury hotel and spa.

On arrival, the winning group will be treated like VIPs and greeted by the pop-up hotel’s butler for 24-hours of 'pure indulgence'.

They will be welcomed with custom-made cocktails including Muddy Marys before checking into three luxury barns with the ensuite accommodation including power showers, Egyptian cotton sheets and even a star gazing window.

The specially constructed spa will also include two onsite masseuses offering a sports massage, pedicure or even a curly blow-dry.

Organisers say it’s a once in a lifetime prize for a group of friends, a luxurious hen or stag weekend, or even for a group of colleagues.

Katherine Scott, group marketing director at LateRooms.com said: “Cheshire has a reputation for luxury so it was the perfect location for this world’s first.

"We wanted to take the idea of glamping to the max and create a 24-hour pop-up luxury hotel in a beautiful field, with as many of the facilities of a real 5-star hotel as possible.

"It’s a once in a lifetime dirty weekend the winners will never forget.”
