DELAMERE Dairy has picked up four awards at this year’s British Cheese Awards for its Sheep Cheese, strawberry goats’ yogurt and Goats’ Butter.

The British Cheese Awards, now in its 27th year, take place at the annual Bath & West Show and this year attracted over 800 entries.

Seventy-five per cent of all UK cheese producers enter the awards which has a judging panel of over 70; so competition is fierce.

The Delamere team was delighted to triumph with Gold in the salted butter category with its Delamere Goats’ Butter.

Its Sheep Cheese collected two Bronze awards in the Sheep Cheese category and for Export.

The Delamere Strawberry Goats’ yogurt was a Silver medal winner in the fruited yogurt category.
