FIRST Responder group leader Sal Thompson has offered her heartfelt thanks to a Knutsford store for its support.
Booths has raised £6,138 for the Knutsford Community First Responder Trust this year, in a range of events at the store, ranging from wine tastings and Christmas carol events to gin and whiskey samplings.
The First Responders Trust is a dedicated team of local volunteers trained by and working with the North West Ambulance Service to preserve life and promote recovery in emergencies within a five-mile radius of Knutsford.
Sal Thompson, chairman of the Trust said: “We are a small dedicated team of local volunteers who aim to make Knutsford a safer place to live.
“Our charity is grateful for the energy, enthusiasm and commitment of the Booths team, who have helped to fund lifesaving services, training and defibrillators locally, making Knutsford a safer place to live.
“We’re so very grateful for the support of Booths, not only in raising valuable funds but in helping to raise the profile of our charity and the important work we do to support the community.”
