FIREFIGHTERS will be rolling up their sleeves on Sunday to support a school’s playground project.
A charity car wash is taking place at Knutsford Fire Station between 11am and 3pm.
The proceeds of the fundraiser will be divided between the Firefighters Charity and a project to revamp the playground at St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School in Knutsford.
The fire station was approached by the school's PTA, which is led by Kirstie Drake and Zoe Paul, who thanked station Watch Manager Anthony Naylor for allowing some of the proceeds from the event to go to the school.
Kirstie and Zoe will be going along on Sunday to support the event, and Knutsford firefighters will be attending the school's summer fair - Party in the Park - at the school, on Saturday, July 6, which runs from midday to 4pm.
