A PROJECT described as 'a youth club for the over 50s' is giving people a new lease of life.
Men in Sheds, which opened recently in Winsford, is not just for men and there isn't a shed in sight.
Set up by the charity Age UK, the aim is to give people over 50 the chance to come together, relax and chat and tackle isolation that may have been caused through bereavement, retirement, redundancy, illness or depression.
Workshops equipped with lathes, planers and saws provide a chance to learn woodcraft.
A photography room, computer suite and art room offer opportunities to master new creative skills.
People can also get involved in a range of community projects.
Monday is ladies day and Tuesday is open to men and women.
