AN online letting agent has opened its first shop in Hartford, in Chester Road where the video centre used to be.

The shop opened on Tuesday, May 21 in 303 Chester Road and the manager was delighted with the welcome the staff received from the Hartford community.

Wesley Heraty, 39, said: “It was a really good day, we had a soft opening event on Tuesday with some local businesses and customers coming to see us and we had some bubbly ready for people.

“We’ve had a lovely welcome from everyone who has been in to see us and we had a few customers who came in and were excited to use our service, mostly because we are a local shop.

The head office is based in Nantwich but the Hartford shop is the first that Let Lord has opened.

LetLord started in 2007 after a group of landlords were left disappointed with the service they were receiving from agents and they wanted to make a difference.

Wesley said: “All of us are landlords and we started the business after we were all unhappy with the service that our agents were providing and we knew we could do better, especially when it comes to customer service.”

Letlord offer landlords the opportunity to simply advertise their properties online on mainstream sites such as Zoopla and Rightmove as well as a fully managed service.

Wesley said: “Basically we can do as little or as much as our clients want for a fixed price which is not on offer anywhere else.”
