A MAN has been taken to hospital following a three-car crash outside the Vale Royal Abbey Arms this morning.
Emergency services were sent to the scene, where the A556 meets Abbey Lane, at 6.49am today, Monday.
The crash involved three cars, and two people were handed into the care of paramedics. One was taken to hospital for further checks.
Fire crews from Northwich and Winsford were among those in attendance.
A Northwich Fire Station spokesman said: "Crews from Northwich and Winsford attended a road traffic collison on the A556 today with a three-car collision.
"Due to the safety systems on all the cars all drivers walked away from the scene however one male was taken to hospital for further checks."
